Manchester United have completed the signing of ex-Manchester City youngster and Salford City trialist Sadiq El Fitouri.
The 20-year-old right back attracted interest from Manchester United after standing out in a game with United’s U21’s and first-team players, in which stars such as Victor Valdes, Darren Fletcher and Adnan Januzaj all started.
He then continued to impress in training, earning him an 18-month contract with the Red Devils.
An ecstatic El Fitouri told manutd.com: “This is honestly a dream come true for me and I have to thank Salford City for the chance, as well as the faith they have shown in me.
“I am really looking forward to what happens next and to be given the opportunity to do so at Manchester United is unbelievable.”
